IncubateIND launches India’s largest Aviation Hackathon


IncubateIND has launched ‘Vistara Hackathon‘, India’s largest Aviation Hackathon with an aim to disrupt the aviation sector and solve aviation-related problems with unique and innovative solutions.

IncubateIND launches 30-hour long, India’s largest Aviation Hackathon Registrations for India’s largest Aviation Hackathon open until Sept 25, 2017 All-India Vistara Hackathon to be held from Oct 7, 2017, to Oct 8, 2017, in Delhi/NCR and Bengaluru

IncubateIND provides a fertile ground for networking and teamwork to students and professionals and helps to discover, create, work together, achieve collective goals, and pursue shared ambitions. Essentially, the company works with students, and entrepreneurs community to create workable solutions for better India. IncubateIND is organizing this hackathon in partnership with India’s finest full-service airline, Vistara.

Technology will help bring about disruptive changes in the aviation industry, some of which we hope to discover at the Vistara Hackathon,” said Ravinder Pal Singh, Chief Information and Innovation Officer, Vistara.

The ‘Vistara Hackathon’ will involve 20 teams from each city that will compete with each other to create new applications and tools to address aviation-related challenges in areas such as, tracking traveller behaviour, personalization of air travel, intelligent crowd monitoring at airports, system integration with third-party APIs and software, in-flight entertainment and intelligent customer targeting, amongst other challenging aspects. The solutions submitted at the ‘Vistara Hackathon’ will be reviewed by a panel of technology and aviation experts who will hand-pick winners, based on originality, the potential for scalability, and successful execution.
