The Practical Mindfulness Course can be conducted in private or by corporate groups. It usually lasts for one hour per week for a total of six weeks. Throughout the sessions, participants will be seated on comfortable chairs where they will practice meditation and other mindfulness techniques with Shirley.
Emotions will also be discussed in the sessions: what they are exactly and their functions. Participants will learn what causes secondary suffering and how they can utilise their emotions in a calm and practical manner.
The Practical Mindfulness Course usually starts with Shirley stating “we don’t know what we don’t know until we know it”. After the six-week course, answers and solutions regarding mindfulness and emotions are revealed.
