Moving and storage company teams up with Houston Fire Department to collect and distribute toys to over 4,000 families in need.
WHAT: On Dec. 21, thousands of children and families will gather in the early hours of the morning to await the 6 a.m. opening of the Operation Stocking Stuffer Toy Drive distribution. Since Nov. 18, PODS storage containers have served as secure collection and storage points for hundreds of thousands of toys donated at various Houston Fire Department stations throughout the city. At the Dec. 21distribution event, 20 PODS containers will be lined up to create a holiday “shopping” village, with each PODS container serving as a “room” for toys sorted by age group and gender. Thousands of families, many of whom will get in line the night before, will wind their way through the PODS containers and receive toys and other necessities for the holidays. This highly visual community charity event is expected to serve approximately 4,400 families through the distribution of over 300,000 toys.
WHEN: Wednesday, Dec. 21 beginning at 6 a.m.

7317 E. Houston Road
