RugGear Launches Rugged Encryption Phone in Brazil

São Paulo, Brazil, July, 13, 2016 – RugGear, the world's top producer of rugged outdoor mobile phones, presents the new RugGear RG730-SE Encryption Phone at the Eletro Expo ICEEB Brazil 2016 (International Consumer Electronics Expo Brazil 2016) taking place in São Paulo from 13 to 16 July 2016. 

Designed in Germany, RG730-SE is expressly engineered and optimized by RugGear in collaboration with ICT security pioneers - Blu5 View - to meet the highest standards for a secure rugged mobile terminal. The integrated mSE™ (micro Secure Environment) card powered by PipeComm® authenticates and encrypts data, calls and texts, delivering high-class military-level data protection.

Threats to data confidentiality and data integrity or data security breaches are an alarming reality. To prevent such risks, RugGear developed a new version of its IP68-certified waterproof and shockproof tough phones.

RG730-SE Encryption Phone is a classic piece of solid yet modern engineering, encased in a full metal frame which features SUS304 stainless steel. The 5" RugDisplay Glass, powerful loudspeaker, the MIL-STD 810G drop protection and its operation range from -20 °C to 60 °C makes it ready to accomplish critical missions under extreme environments and weather conditions, while securing data confidentiality.

The encryption is based on the mSE™ - micro Secure Environment – card which acts as the core enabler for demanding applications on mobile phones. The embedded computational power, coupled with readily implemented firmware blocks and a wide array of library functions allows to deliver innovative services and features to the security-oriented mobile users.
