SDFI-Telemedicine returns to Dallas, TX for the 2017 NCA Summit.

On October 26, 2017 SDFI-Telemedicine will return to Dallas, TX for the 2017 NCA (National Children’s Alliance) Chapter Summit. This event only happens every other year, and we couldn’t be more excited to meet all the amazing State Chapter leaders.

SDFI-Telemedicine first exhibited at the NCA conference in 2014, where we introduced the SDFI Forensic Camera system to attendees. They quickly learned this “Shoot, Store and Send” solution was the all-in-one photodocumentation system they had been looking for.

Attendees from CAC’s (Child Advocacy Center) across the country were blown away by how easy the camera was to use, as well as the high resolution images produced by our imaging system.  Forensic Nurse Examiners, advocates and directors were equally amazed by the forensic tools built into the secure Image Management System and the File Portal system which allowed them to send forensic data securely anywhere in the world.   

“Since the first time we attended the NCA conference, we look forward to returning to share our advancements in forensic camera technology and resources with this amazing community of dedicated professionals” says SDFI’s Marketing Manager, Tre Yoder. “This year is no different, and we are excited to share a multitude of grant and non-profit funding options we have gathered for your review.

At the start of 2017, SDFI also launched their Forensic industry job board, providing a platform for forensic professionals and employers to connect quickly and easily. Around that same time, we launched our “Forensic Learning Center”.  The Forensic Learning Center is designed to be a convenient training and CEU option for busy Forensic Examiners.

SDFI, in cooperation with Diana K. Faugno, MSN, RN, CPN, SANE-A, SANE-P, DF-IAFN, FAAFS and Val Sievers MSN,RN,CNS,SANE-A, SANE-P, who are educators, leading experts and forensic medical examiners, designed multiple forensic training videos that can be accessed online at the students convenience.
