Let us tell you about something different! - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Seat 214 Announces Website Launch.
New website narrowing the gap between artist and audience
Whilst providing access to affordable, original art, the site establishes and nurtures an ongoing relationship between the artist and buyer, inviting the buyer to become a part of the artist’s journey. “Seat 214 is an online gallery with one overarching ethos: bringing people closer to art.” Joe commented, “Whether a collector or a first time buyer, Seat 214 is the home for new and exciting art as well as a platform for interacting with the artists who create it”. Once a purchase has been made, the buyer will receive regular updates letting them know how the artist’s career is progressing.
For artists, the site will provide a platform to showcase their work to a global audience. The concept behind Seat 214 has piqued the interest of artists around the globe. One artist, Huddersfield based Dex Hannon, was eager to sell his art on the site: “Many online galleries give emerging artists little space to make their mark. The fact that people interested in the work can interact with the artist is great, establishing trust between the gallery, the artist and the prospective buyer. It is a refreshing change”. A percentage of all sales will also be reinvested to support future artists and projects through the pioneering ‘Seat 214 Future Artists Fund’.
The website signifies a welcome change in the direction of online art, actively facilitating connections between artist and buyer beyond the initial purchase.
