Some Problems being Solved in RS NXT Update, What about Others?

All RS players, it notes that some bugs and incompatibilities happen in NXT. Luckily the RS official has confirmed on the Runescape reddit that several issues have been addressed. And some players have reported several issues in their RS adventure concerning the client. Here details about it and solutions to solve those issues are given.

The NXT update addresses the RT-3591, RT-3733, and RT-3740.

The issue that Vorago Vitalis orb projanim does not display in NXT has been addressed. Also a few texture atlas-related crashes have been handled. In addition, Jagex has dealt with the terrain textures misaligned.

Solutions to deal with the FPS drops

Some players have complained about the FTP drops. Now the tips about how to handle it are provided. 

It could be that your hard drive isn't as spry as it used to be. The same problem can be caused by a hard drive being full or nearly full. It could also be bad ram on your end. That's just hardware stuff though and it could be basically anything if it is hardware related. 

You should do a clean update of all of your drivers (shouldn't take long and will likely help other games run better) and clean up your registry and unused temporary files. It shouldn’t take long and will likely to help other games run better. If none of that does anything, you're probably due a reinstall of windows anyways and it makes everything run so much smoother so you should do that. 

Also if reinstalling everything doesn't sort it, it's a hardware thing and you should try pulling random sticks of ram out and checking your temperatures too. They're just generic solutions to tech problems but they solve all problems. If it still doesn't work after all of that, then it's likely that NXT has some random bug in it that pertains to your very specific hardware configuration and may never be found or fixed.

Jagex is on the way to handle the sound bugging out every hour.

Jagex has stated that the sound is working fine on Windows, but cuts out on Mac and Linux. And they are currently working on to fix both at the same. There are thousands of possibilities and combinations in audio drivers, DirectX version, hardware, OS, audio ports, CPU and RAM, so it can be extremely difficult to pinpoint a unique audio issue, but they will definitely get there.

NXT is more than just an impressive graphic overhaul. The arrival of NXT is just the start of a process to further enhance the game’s visuals. Continuing NXT development is much more important.
