A report of the US Education Department has showed continuous erosion in the vocabulary skills among country’s students. Concerned over the report, Michigan educationist Manisha Shelly Kaura along with her father Dr. S. R. Kaura conducted a research for more than 10 years. They discovered that the lack of knowledge about root words is a reason behind the poor vocabulary among US young minds. To improve the situation, they introduced a vocabulary building program — Vocab Tunes. This online learning program aims to improve kids’ vocabulary by making them aware of latin and Greek roots in a musical way.
