About Birkbeck

Birkbeck is a college that forms part of the University of London and has done so since 1920. The institution got established back in 1823 under the direction of Dr George Birkbeck. Both he and his followers had a radical vision for learning in London. Their goal was to make university education accessible to workers on a part-time basis.
