Holiday Season Comes Early with Gift Donation Drive for Deployed Airmen

Moving and storage company to provide logistics, collect gift donations for airmen deployed overseas

To show generosity and care for our troops, PODS® Tucson is partnering with KQTH and the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce’s Military Affairs Committee to collect gift donations for Operation Zulu this holiday season. Throughout October, PODS will ask residents to donate a gift to O’Reilly Chevrolet where a PODS container will serve as a collection point.

The Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce’s Military Affairs Committee (MAC) program assists the Tucson business community in raising funds and collecting holiday gifts to send to local deployed Airmen. The gifts will be wrapped and shipped to a deployed Operation Zulu “Santa” who will deliver the gifts to men and women for them to enjoy a little piece of home during the holidays.

“We are honored to be a part of Operation Zulu for the second year in a row,” said Mike Smith, Vice President of Operations for PODS Tucson. “This drive is a really great way to give back to those who serve our country.”

The public is encouraged to drop off donated gifts such as puzzles, footballs, etc. into the safe and secure PODScontainers during the following dates and locations:
