OnlineBusiness Hosts Session on ‘How to Monetize Your Blog’ at Hyatt Pune

On Sat the 20th of June Gaurav Gurbaxani the co-founder of OnlineBusiness.org held a session at Hyatt Pune for local bloggers who were interested in finding out how to monetize their blog.

Mr Gurbaxani spoke to the attendees, that included beginner and established bloggers, about the various techniques that they can use to increase the visibility of their blogs. He also talked about the different ways that they can make money using their blogs. He gave live demonstrations on how to use Facebook’s graph search function to find a target audience and explained the concept of affiliate marketing. The session was held at Eighty Eight which is the all-day restaurant at Hyatt Pune.

Hyatt Pune hosts an event every Saturday that is open for attendance for the people of the city. Each session a guest speaker is invited to talk about a particular topic. The event is held for 3 hours generally between 3 and 6 pm. It includes a 90 minutes session by the speaker, 30 minutes of live Q & A and a final hour of high tea where attendees can network with each other and enjoy the tea and snacks prepared by the hotel. The weekly event is called Chai Pe Charcha and is based on the concept made famous by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his election campaign. The session on ‘Monetizing Your Blog’ was held as a part of the Chai Pe Charcha series.

OnlineBusiness.org is an online blog for entrepreneurs who want to enter the digital space. The site gives information on the latest trends of the online world along with tips and tricks on how to be successful online. The blog will also introduce a six week course that interested entrepreneurs can undertake to learn the skills necessary to establish their business online.
