Native American Actress Taysha Fuller Stars In


Spirit Creek Productions announces the completion of the film "An Exercise From Winter Count".

(Hollywood CA.) Taysha Fuller (“Degrassi:The Next Generation”) stars in the short film "An Exercise From Winter Count”. The film is penned by Pamela Keith Ferguson and produced through her production company Spirit Creek Productions in association with RFA Productions. Veteran actor/producer Robert Amico directed and produced the film, which shot in Los Angeles.

The film takes us on the journey of a young woman struggling to claim her suppressed Native American identity. The story is based on Ms. Ferguson's true life story growing up at Wounded Knee on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Ms. Fuller is from the Six Nations Reserve in Canada.

The feature film version, "Winter Count",  is currently in development at Spirit Creek Productions and RFA Productions with Taysha Fuller starring.
Other feature films in development at Spirit Creek Productions include "Hemingway",  the biography of Ernest Hemingway.

Other feature films in development at Robert Amico's RFA Productions include "Carpe Diem", directed by Jude Prest. The script was penned by Mr. Amico and currently attached are Dominique Swain ("Face Off", "Lolita", "Alpha Dogs") and Mika Boorem ("The Patriot", "Blue Crush"). Other stars are currently in negotiations.
Taysha Fuller will be seen soon in the indie feature "Songs My Father Taught Me"
