Twenty Two Year Old Entrepreneur Tests the Safety of His New Classified Advertisement Website Zippityo.Com
Computer Programmer and Owner of Zippityo set out to prove the safety of his new site
PRnob.com - JULY 11, 2015 - If anyone is old enough to remember life as an adult before the internet, they would have observed the fast-moving whirlwind surrounding the age of technology. Not that long ago, classified advertising was only available in the now almost obsolete newspaper delivered to the doorstep; come rain, come shine. One issue that seems to stop people from using free online classifieds is that of safety, from the viewpoint of placing ads or answering them.
However, Founder & CEO of classified advertisement website ZippityO.com have set out to prove the safety of the new site. In the attempt to get the first transaction ever on ZippityO, Brett Taylor posted some of his personal belongings in the "free stuff" subcategory of the site and went to his social media page to spread the word. His post of a free wireless printer got the attention of one college student, whom he had never met prior. After completing the site's image verification process, the ZippityO member was then able to contact Brett and the two arranged to meet at O'Fallon city hall at 5 o'clock Monday July 6.
The two followed all safety precautions that the site suggested and the exchange proved to be a success.
As a computer programmer and entrepreneur from St. Louis, Missouri, Brett Taylor started learning how to program back in 2010 through tutorial sites online. His goal has always been to create something that people would find useful. Brett said, “I was fortunate enough to find my calling at a young age and ever since then, I have dedicated my life to this. ZippityO is the fourth site I have created and the only one I have officially launched. I believe the other sites were just practice leading up to this one.”
Brett Taylor said, “There are no guarantee’s that all arrangements made outside of ZippityO will be 100% safe, but one of the main reason’s I created this site is to give people a better feel for who they are communicating with before deciding to meet in person.”
The website has been designed to incorporate the necessary precautions for a successful transaction. Users can leave feedback and suggest additional layers of security to be incorporated for a successful transaction on the site.
Founded in 2015 by Brett Taylor, the website was designed to provide a simple and more secure way to browse and post free local ads online.
