Chillax Resort Bangkok has been awarded with the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Award for the Best “Luxury New Hotel” in Asia. The resort received this honor at the eighth annual World Luxury Hotel Awards that were celebrated at the Bay Hotel’s majestic Rotunda in Camps Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. It is a huge recognition of the relentless commitment in providing the guests, with the very best in service, facilities and standards. Besides this, the award was bestowed in recognition of outstanding achievements in service delivery over the past year as voted by the guests and industry consultants.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards, also described as the Oscars of the hospitality industry, is known as the highest accolade that, properties can receive. The nominees are judged for service excellence and over 50 categories more in the luxury hotel industry.  The annual red carpet Gala event was hosted at with various senior representatives from the leading hotels across the world. This biggest event in the luxury Hotel industry attracts many people across the world as it is considered as the Oscar award in the Hospitality Industry.

Over 1,000 hotels from 145 countries were nominated to participate in the world’s most prestigious Awards initiative for luxury hotels in 2014. Winners were purely judged on service delivery and effective management voted for by International tour operators, travel agents and hotel guests who get the opportunity to cast their valuable votes annually, making the process fair and unbiased. The World Luxury Hotel Awards was established in 2006 to recognize the worldwide luxury hotel industry and legendary hotels with respect to overall service excellence.
