If you are dealing with the issue of low marks in your assignments then you need to keep on reading. Assignment writing is no less than an art and we need to keep it that way in order to get the best marks possible. There may be a few mistakes in your assignment writing that you may be making and you don’t know about them even though there is apparently nothing wrong with your assignments. Let us take a look at some common assignment writing mistakes that people make and are not aware of.
Plagiarism
One of the most common mistakes is plagiarism in assignments. Now you must be thinking that you will never copy anyone’s work and that is simply not true. But what you don’t know is that we don’t always copy work intentionally, sometimes our work is either very similar to someone else’s or we don’t put quotes while writing a line from a book or website which is considered plagiarism. Even if you want it or not but if you do not mention the writer’s name or credit the book you used a quote from, you are unintentionally claiming ownership to the work which by all means is wrong.
Outlining
Preparations in an assignment show in the final work. If you start your assignment with brainstorming, note taking and making and outline first, it will surely end up in something great and worthy of great marks. Similarly, if your assignment lacks all of this, if you make assignment randomly then you may be making a mistake that you don’t realize right now. Outlining is very important in any sort of academic work. It gives your work a refined look and it allows you to see the process step by step. If you think that writing directly saves time then you should remember that assignment writing through an outline saves marks and decide if you want to save time over the cost of marks.
Vocabulary
One dreadful mistake one can make is to use words that you yourself are not familiar with. New words and the words recently learned or too complicated should be avoided at all costs. Even if you write the best of the work but it is difficult for the other person to understand, it will have no use. The reader should clearly understand the content and difficult or words that are learned recently should be avoided at all costs. Dissertation Writing Service must involve interesting choice of words.
Time Deadlines
Submitting assignment too close to the deadline or after it is also a mistake. When the tutor has already seen and marked one of the best works, your work needs to be either exceptional or at least better quality than the rest to get great marks.
Guidelines and Requirements
Not following guidelines or requirements set by the tutor is something that should be avoided. You should follow the guidelines to answer your assignment question and keep an eye on the required format, required information and tasks and the word count etc.
