Users can insert a microSD flash memory card (up to 64GB, 1TB and 2TB will be available in 2015) to use the Adapter as a standard SD flash memory card. It also allows wireless transmission of images from the SDHC-compatible digital camera to a wi-fi-enabled smart phone, laptop or tablet. Users can employ their digital camera’s high resolution and their smartphone’s or tablet’s versatility to immediately share photos just after they are taken. Up to 6 users can simultaneously access the card to browse or download content.

Access Photos Remotely

No external network is required to use the SD Adapter. The user inserts the SD adapter and ensures the digital camera is turned on. The SD adapter uses IEEE 802.11b/g/n with WPA 2 wireless security to operate at up to 10 metres indoors, and over 20 metres in radius in an unobstructed environment. It is ideal for holidays, events or parties where remote access is needed. The user can instantly upload their photos to email or share via social media.

Flexible Data Storage Capacity

Different to buying expensive multiple Wi-Fi SD cards with fixed storage capacities, the SD Adapter allows users to select and always use their preferred storage capacity via changing microSDHC flash memory cards. This translates into a potentially endless capacity through microSDHC cards.

The Wi-Fi SD Adapter supports microSDHC cards up to 32GB and has a speed rating of Class 10. Users can take advantage of the Wi-Fi Adapter’s wireless hotspot capabilities to connect to a mobile device.

Data are wirelessly transmitted from the camera to wi-fi devices through enabling the app. PC or laptop users can perform the same actions via a Web browser. OS compatibility includes Windows™, MacOS™ and Linux™.
