Smoking or vaporizing marijuana are much more effective delivery methods than pills for many patients: The drug works instantly, the dosage may be controlled by the patient, and there is no problem "keeping it down" since it cannot be vomited back up.

Medical decision should be made by doctors and their patients, not politicians. We should be responsible and compassionate and allow doctors to recommend medical marijuana to patients who are sick and need it to treat the symptoms of their illnesses and provide them a better quality of life. Individuals who are sick and suffering should not go to jail for medical marijuana, and neither should their doctors.
