Shanghai, China - WeeTect has launched the world’s most advanced face shields, featuring anti-scratch and anti-fog protection. With one side anti-fog, and the other side anti-scratch; these face shields will become a perfect choice for all industrial applications irrespective of the environmental conditions. They aim to deliver, simple but effective way to manage fog and scratches on polycarbonate surfaces at the same time.

WeeTect uses either dip or flow coating, alongside thermal and UV curing techniques to bind the two permanently on the polycarbonate sheet. This eliminates any chances of wear or peeling off of the coating after repeated cleaning.

About anti-scratch coating

WeeTect’s  anti-scratch coating is a hard coat that protects the polycarbonate sheet from any abrasive elements. During flow or dip coating, anti-scratch forms a thin layer which is virtually invisible and adheres permanently to the surface of the polycarbonate sheet for face shields.

This layer alone protects the surface from abrasion or scratches. They are available in different degrees of hardness (>1H, >3H up to 9H). Moreover, it is possible to consolidate it with other technologies such as UV resistant or anti-graffiti.

About anti-fog coating

WeeTect’s anti-fog coating is a hydrophilic ingredient. It eradicates fogging by manipulating the molecular forces of water. Thus, water droplets spread into a thin film that is virtually invisible.

It does not require the use of any chemicals to eliminate fogging. The coating is safe and environmentally friendly.
