Stellar Phoenix releases Excel Repair & Recovery Tool Version 5.5 and the tool has got some new features and improved the old features. It is a DIY (do-it-yourself) Excel Recovery utility that is specifically designed to repair and restore corrupted/damaged Microsoft Excel (.xls and .xlsx files).  

The software performs recovery of Excel files in several scenarios such as sudden system shutdown, virus infections, human errors, etc. The software scans all selected Excel files and it uses advanced algorithm that repair the corruption and bring back the Excel spreadsheets back to its original state.  The software also provide users to preview the recoverable files which help users to save only important files which they want and leave the rest of the files.
