Harvard Jolly Architecture wins two first place awards and an award of merit at the 2016 FEFPA Winter Conference. Projects were judged based on their architectural solutions to program requirements and awards were presented in each educational category: Elementary, Middle, High, Community Colleges, Universities, and Special Facilities. Harvard Jolly was awarded first place for its modernization of Sarasota High School Paul Rudolph Classroom, first place for the modernization of North Palm Beach Elementary School, and an award of merit for the design and modernization of Glade View Elementary School.

The Florida Educational Facilities Planners Association’s (FEFPA) intention is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and to promote cooperation between Florida School Districts, Universities and the Office of Educational Facilities. This was FEFPA’s 18th Annual Architectural Showcase and Harvard Jolly was recognized for their innovative response to educational programming, flexibility for community use, technology provisions, green design and the relationship of spaces and expandability.

“These awards are proof that good architecture and the educational needs of children can go hand in hand”, said René Tercilla, Principal of firm. “We are very proud of the work accomplished by our staff and the many School District personnel involved, it’s good to see others appreciate it as well."
