       3. Thermal Processing

In the first process, water and oxygen escapes from the bean; finally, carbon dioxide escapes leaving a huge lump of ashes of coffee. The heat also causes the coffee bean to change its color from green to dark, chocolate brown.

       4. Cooling

Once the lump of coffee in the form of ashes has been processed from the roaster, they are being cooled. The cooling process is done via a vacuum system or a water mist. Cooling helps to brood over the coffee and give it a fresh flavoring taste.

       5. Packaging

The final process in coffee bean roasting is packaging. Packaging is when the lump of coffee ashes is being packaged in foil bags. Packaging enables to “de-gas” the coffee and maintains its freshness.
