MYSKITICKET: the first comprehensive ski holiday organizer

Snowpass launched its website myskiticket.com, a portal for winter sports, where customers can organize their ski holiday & purchase/book online everything they need!

Press Release - Aug 12, 2015 (PRnob.com) - Munich, GERMANY – Snowpass GmbH, a German-born start-up forerunner in the online business of winter sports, launched its website myskiticket.com on the 2nd of August 2015. Myskiticket works as a ski holiday planner. It is a portal for winter sports, where customers can purchase/book online everything they need. The 3 founders noted the compelling nature of the long queuing problem and came up with myskiticket.com. What does this mean? Plainly that ski passes, rental equipment and ski lessons can be purchased online. In this way, the ski and snowboard enthusiasts will be saved from queuing at the sales counter, at the rental shop and at the ski school. Certainly, there is no shortage of disagreement within the fact that having booked everything online before even starting a holiday, it’s a good way to reduce stress.

Probably, the most significant aspect of the originality of the platform is the fact that skiers are enabled to compare, for the very first time, hundreds of different ski resorts. As a matter of fact, myskiticket provides a list of the most important ski areas in the Alps: from France to Italy, from Switzerland to Germany, passing through Austria. In total more than 400 ski resorts are part of platform’s network. For skiers it will be possible to compare all the most relevant aspects of the alpine ski resorts: price, availability of online passes and charges, weather conditions, snow report, open lifts, slopes map, rental equipment, ski lessons and accommodation.

“To be able to understand, we should put ourselves in a skier’s shoes. Or boots.” Said Dominik Cadmus, founder of Snowpass GmbH, laughs. “Let’s suppose a skier wants to go skiing in the Alps, let’s say in Tyrol. It’s Thursday and, on Saturday, he plans on leaving. But Tyrol has more than one ski resorts. How does he decide? There are many factors to consider: snow conditions, weather forecast, ski pass prices, number of open lifts, availability of ski rental (in case he wants to rent), ski courses for his kids. And what if he wants to stay for a couple of nights? Eventually, to check all of these aspects, a skier would have had to go to every single website: weather forecast, ski resort, ski school, ski rental shop etc. And sometimes happens that information is missing or that a shop has no online shop. Through myskiticket it will be possible to easily compare all the relevant information and to buy all you need in one only page. This is our strength.”

Not only German-speakers will have this chance. The company’s international team has announced today that a new version of the website, translated into 4 different languages (German, English, Italian and French) will be active later this week.
