Pea Pod Pixie Launches Kickstarter Campaign To Expand Unique Bath Care Product Line
Pea Pod Pixie has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing to expand its current product line.
Toledo, OH - Pea Pod Pixie, a family owned company with more than 5 years’ experience in the manufacture and distribution of handmade bath and body care products, has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing to expand its current product line.
Pea Pod Pixie specializes in handcrafted products that are produced using as few synthetic ingredients as possible. The Company seeks to use organic items in its handcrafted body care line as often as possible. Pea Pod Pixie’s featured line of bath care products include scented and unscented products. Unscented products are created with no essential or fragrance oil added. As for its scented products, the Company features (i) Lemon Cookie, a sweet baked scent with hints of vanilla and lemon, and (ii) Golden Woods, a light citrus scent, with a hint of floral and a smoky blend of birch, rum and tobacco. Other scented products offered by the Company include peppermint, strawberry and cherry.
“Our dream of selling baked goods and jewelry was put on hold and we made the switch to bath and body care products when close relative (brother/son) started undergoing treatments for cancer,” Said project creator Ivy Walker. “Reason being it was soon found his skin wasn’t staying hydrated with normal store brought lotion, worse it irritated his skin…our products are clearly labeled so the consumer can make a clear and conscious decision on what they want to purchase”
Pea Pod Pixie’s goal with its Kickstarter campaign is to expand its current business success to a broader audience. The Company states that with a successful funding it will be able to purchase more materials for crafting, get its name licensed, secure essential permits and develop an official website to accompany its Facebook page.
“With success [on Kickstarter] we will be able to venture out to cold process soaps instead of just melt and pours, as well as proper permits which will allow us to offer our baked goods,” says Jeanette Walker.
Kickstarter is a funding platform for creative projects. Everything from films, games, and music to art, design, and technology. ‘Backers’ who support a project on Kickstarter get an inside look at the creative process, and help that project come to life. All ‘Backers’ of the Kickstarter campaign who pledge $5 or more can receive a range of the Company’s products in exchange for their support.
The Kickstarter campaign is officially open until October 7, 2016. For more information about the Kickstarter campaign, visit: http://kck.st/2ckI41l
