Registration Open For 2015 American Summer Camp Counsellors

Wild Packs work worldwide to help people get work at popular summer camps in the United States

Wild Packs, the team recognized worldwide for helping people follow their dreams of working at popular camps during the American summer holidays, are currently registering and interviewing applicants. With limited placements available and large levels of interest in this work, those who are interested are encouraged to contact them and register as soon as possible.

Going to live and work at an American Summer Camp is a dream and ambition of many undergraduates and post-graduates studying in the UK today. It is also a dream of many other students around the world. With a large, worldwide interest in doing this and a limited number of vacancies for non-US camp workers and counsellors, it's vital to both apply early and to have a professional placement team working for you. Wild Packs are a team committed to assisting all of those who want to have this experience get there in the most affordable way possible.

Summer camps are open from mid-June to mid-August in the USA every year. The age groups attending range between 7 and 17. Attending them is considered a big and essential part of growing up in America.

Wild Packs represent the three main types of camps in America. These are the traditional camps, where a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities are carried out, performance and creative arts camps, for those with a passion for music, acting, song and dance, and special needs camps, especially designed to allow children with mental and physical disabilities to enjoy life to the full.

Wild Packs would like to make clear, as you would expect with any position that involves working with children, background security checks for suitability are always conducted on all applicants. Those wishing to apply must also make sure they meet the criteria for a working visa in the USA.

For those new to working as a camp counsellor or looking after children, don’t worry. Extensive and exhaustive training is always provided before the camps start. There is also always outstanding support, help and mentoring at the camps. The experienced counsellors both remember their own first time and are aware that it is in everyone’s best interests that you succeed. You will never be left alone to try and tackle an issue.
