United States Power Squadrons Digital Media Library Launches

The United States Power Squadrons (USPS) introduces its new Digital Media Library (DML) as the official online home for multiple formats of digital media focused on safe boating practices.

Raleigh, NC, 30 September 2016 – The United States Power Squadrons (USPS) announces the launch of its new Digital Media Library (DML) online at www.uspsdml.org and as a free mobile app.

The USPS DML has been developed to serve as a showcase and repository for digital media focused on boating safety and safe boating education.

Featured on the website and mobile app will be a series of original videos that show how to prepare popular recreational motorboats for departure, operate underway, dock, and secure them at their destination.

Also available are slideshows and images that offer more safe-boating educational material and boating-safety messages and tips.

All digital media in the library is offered at no charge.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to sign-up for notifications when new material is added to the library and to request information about particular boating topics.

###

The USPS Digital Media Library is produced under a grant from the Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund administered by the US Coast Guard.

The United States Power Squadrons is the premier boating organization dedicated to “Safe Boating through Education” since 1914.
